Apart from just relaxing and unwinding there are options for you to consider during your visit the marae:
We have walking tracks that are from 2-3 hours to 6-8 hours long.
 
M V Wakapai (Boat) carries 20 passengers Cruises from 2 hours to 3-4 days.
Bookings are essential.
 
Weaving normally 2 hour sessions.
 
Museum Visit see our collection of marae memorabilia. in the Whare Hikurangi.
 
Visit our Whare Tipuna Ancestral House Te Waiherehere and Poutama.

Visit our church Pepara  which is an all denominations. The Church shows the influence on Maori by the missionaries. See the monument to Sister Elsie Smith who dedicated more than 40 years to looking after the sick, midwife duties and teaching the faith to our families at Koriniti and along the river.The church. has been rebuilt 3 times, the last in 1922.
